The Society for Professional Health Educationists in Uganda (SFPHEU) participated in the 4th Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Conference, joining health professionals and stakeholders in a forum dedicated to preventive healthcare and health promotion.
The Society’s participation reflects its commitment to professional engagement and to strengthening the contribution of health education professionals within Uganda’s public-health landscape.
Professional conferences provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration and the sharing of experiences relevant to health education and disease prevention. They offer a setting in which practitioners can connect their day-to-day work with wider professional discussion.
Through its participation, SFPHEU continued its engagement with professional initiatives that encourage informed communities, preventive health practices and stronger public-health systems. This work complements the Society’s community-facing health education and its collaboration with district and institutional partners.
