What we do

Health education in practice.

SFPHEU connects professional knowledge with community action through school outreach, disease-prevention communication, workforce development and district partnerships.

Our programmes

Working with communities and health institutions

SFPHEU carries out health education, prevention-oriented outreach, professional exchange and capacity-building activities in collaboration with district leadership and local health partners. Our work reaches schools, communities, training venues, radio studios, health facilities and hard-to-reach settings.

Five connected areas guide this engagement: community and school health education; disease prevention and immunization communication; health workforce training and supervision; radio-based public communication; and integrated outreach and professional learning.

Community health promotion

School sensitization, community dialogue and integrated outreach bring health education closer to learners and residents, working alongside district and community partners.

Disease prevention and awareness

Member-led Ebola awareness, antimicrobial-resistance dialogue and immunization communication connect preventive information with community concerns.

Workforce development

Training sessions, launches, field attachments and hospital-linked supervision connect structured learning with community health practice.

Professional dialogue and communication

Conference exchange and Radio Akica discussions link practitioners, district counterparts and the public through complementary channels.
